Refund Policy

1. Digital Goods Nature

All products sold on SampleLake are digital goods (datasets, AI prompts, reports). Due to the nature of digital goods, they cannot be "returned" once downloaded or accessed.

2. All Sales Are Final

Therefore, all sales are final and non-refundable once the digital product has been accessed or downloaded by the buyer, except as required by applicable consumer law.

3. Exceptions for Defective Content

We may issue a refund at our sole discretion if:

• The file is corrupted or technically unusable.
• The content significantly deviates from the product description.
• The buyer contacts support within 24 hours of purchase with proof of the defect.

4. Dispute Resolution & Fraud Prevention

If you believe a purchase was made fraudulently or the seller violated our Acceptable Use Policy, please open a dispute immediately by contacting support.

Notice: To protect our sellers from fraudulent chargebacks, SampleLake logs all successful downloads and file access (including IP address and time). This data will be submitted to our payment partners (e.g., PayPal) as proof of delivery in the event of an unjustified dispute.
